What needs to happen
The club accelerates through impact
The clubhead approaches the ball on a shallower plane angle into impact (a more in-to-out swing path)
The clubface is square to closing through impact

Adopt a ‘stronger’ grip. Move both hands around to the right so they are parallel to each other (above). Most pull slicers have a “weak” grip – the hands are placed around to the left of the handle.
Set up square to the target. Your feet, hips, shoulders and eyes should be parallel to the target line (above right). Check yourself in a mirror or have a friend take a look. Also, lower and relax the right arm at address. Most pull slicers have the right arm too high and tense at address.
Put the ball back in your stance. Play it a couple of inches inside your left heel. Most pull slicers play the ball too far forward.
Swing to a full and balanced finish.
